Lucid Dreaming is the ability to wake up in your dreams and take control of them.
It allows a sense of clarity and awareness that almost nothing else can offer, or at least, not in the same way. It allows you to take control of the world in your mind. When you wake up, you remember your adventures and you become excited as you remember them. You think about the worlds you explored the previous night, and you look forward to doing something new the following night.
But there is more to Lucid Dreaming than just having fun, it can teach you very important things about waking life as well or 'reality'.
Here are 4 things Lucid Dreaming can teach you.

But there is more to Lucid Dreaming than just having fun, it can teach you very important things about waking life as well or 'reality'.
Here are 4 things Lucid Dreaming can teach you.
1. Creativity. Lucid Dreaming can take your creativity to whole new levels. People have claimed to have written entire pieces of music or seen and created art in their dreams. Your subconscious mind is an incredible thing, much of which we don't understand. What we do know is that you know and remember more than you can be aware of at any one time. There are things locked in your mind that you have no idea even exist until something triggers that memory or idea. You have potential beyond comprehension within your mind. Lucid Dreaming allows you to unlock that potential. You can literally talk to your subconscious.
You can become and achieve anything you wish, if you want to write a novel, create a business or work out why you're scared of the dark, the key is in your mind, and thus in your dreams.
2. An internal locus of control. You will learn to adopt an internal locus of control. By definition, Lucid Dreaming is becoming aware that you're dreaming, and therefore that you're in control. At first it is tricky, but with practice, you can control and influence every aspect of the dream. The skill transfers fairly well to reality as well. In psychology we learn that there are two types of people, people with an external or an internal locus of control, in other words, people that either think that things happen to them and they have no control over it, or people who think that anything is possible and the key is within them.
Anything is possible, and as this next point illustrates, you can do what you want.
3. Your thoughts shape your world. Everything you allow into your mind will shape your life, feelings, emotions and experiences in ways beyond understanding. The law of attraction is based on this principle. It states that the subconscious mind will attract to you anything you focus on. You become what you think about.
Knowing this you can attract wealth, love, success and abundance into your life by thinking about it. You need only to focus on it and it will become your reality. The issue here is that this is a two edged sword. Just as easily as you can attract wealth, so can you attract poverty simply be fearing and thinking about it. This is why the most important thing to learn is how to control your thoughts. Control your thoughts and the world is yours.
4. Anything is possible. Lucid Dreaming will teach you that anything is possible if you only believe. In the dream, what you believe can happen, will happen. If for only a second you doubt something, it will not happen. If you are in a dream, trying to jump over a large gap in the landscape, a cliff, and for a second you think 'I can't make that' then you will not. The belief needs to be absolute and unchanging. When this is achieved, the limits we once believed to be there fade away.
This applies not only to Lucid Dreams but also to reality. Your thoguht
